A Behavioural Lens on Art Collecting

Join the
Study

The study is going live: university-partnered research initiative led by str-ing.org, exploring how collecting behavior reveals patterns of identity, taste, and cultural connection.

Our tools support public cultural infrastructure through collaborative, data-ethical research on art engagement.

01

You Host a Touch Point

Place a simple Tag at your exhibition, booth or gallery. It invites visitors to join a short, anonymous questionnaire designed for art collectors.

02

Visitors Participate On Their Own

Participants answer 10–12 behaviorally designed questions via mobile. No logins, no personal data, no interruption to the gallery experience.

03

You Gain Insight (Not Data)

You don’t receive individual data but we share anonymized, aggregate insights about collector types and engagement patterns emerging across exhibitions and events.

04

You Become Part of the Cultural Neural Network

Hosting the study positions your gallery as a thought partner in a public-interest research initiative about taste, identity, and collecting today with visibility in future publications and institutional presentations.

01

We Provide the Research Framework

str-ing.org UG defines the core research objectives, designs the participatory questionnaire, and ensures alignment with behavioral science and cultural theory.

02

You Validate or Co-Design the Protocol

Academic partners contribute methodological oversight, from refining question design to advising on ethics, sample structuring, or pilot testing.

03

The Study Is Implemented in the Field

The questionnaire is deployed through gallery partners, art fairs, and digital channels. Data is collected anonymously, ensuring full GDPR compliance.

04

We Co-Publish, Reflect, and Share

Partners are invited to co-author papers, publish insight reports, or participate in symposia. All collaborations are creditable and mutually framed for public benefit and institutional recognition.
